104 North Road
The site of our offices
on North Road was originally that of the Coronation Picture House, opened
in 1911, though many Brightonians will remember the site more for being Redhill
Motors, who occupied the site from 1949 to 1999.
Because of its historical significance therefore, it was the requirement of
both the Planning Authority and English Heritage that an element of its historical
presence should be maintained.
The original site, which included the old cinema itself, was split and the
retail element of the site was acquired by this practice for development in
to the new practice offices. The original picture house entrance foyer has
been now been converted into our new offices.
